Another odd little ditty. I have
always tried to keep a positive attitude. You may not see that from all of
my pain of love poems... but they were my release. I was never one to walk
around with a frown on my face.

WARRIOR OF LIFE
The stakes are high.
An' so am I.
Ready tonight.
Ready to fight.
For some,
The risk of living,
Is too much.
But not for me.
I take life as it comes,
Wildly.
An' sometimes,
It's still not enough.
'Cause I'm just another,
Warrior of life.
Out on the streets,
Everyday,
Every night,
Slaying strife.
It's hard to beat.
But still I hack away,
With my ten-foot-pen-knife.
Another day,
Here I go.
On my way,
To make some dough.
Out the door,
On the street.
'Cause I don't want to be,
Too poor to eat.
So hard I work,
Just to make ends meet.
'Cause I'd be a jerk,
If I gave up before I was
beat.
Yeah,
I'm just another,
Warrior of life.
Out on the streets,
Everyday,
Every night,
Slaying strife.
It's hard to beat.
But still I hack away,
With my ten-foot-pen-knife.
An' the day,
My lifeless body,
Is dropped into a grave.
An' I'm buried away,
Is the day,
The whistling stopped.
An' then the world will be
saved.
From the nearly truthful,
Oddly twisted things,
I would say.
That were often,
More than a mouthful.
An' sometimes took all day.
Yeah,
I'm just another,
Warrior of life.
Out on the streets,
Everyday,
Every night,
Slaying strife.
It's hard to beat.
But still I hack away,
With my ten-foot-pen-knife.
