THE DEATH OF A WORLD
Bombs falling,
From the sky.
In sixty seconds,
Billions die.
The end of this world,
Is now here.
As cities are hurled,
Into the atmosphere.
No reason,
For the world to die.
No more reasons,
To reason why.
Vibrations,
Rock the earth.
Ashes of dust,
All it's worth.
The violent death,
Is quite loud.
It's last breath,
Is of atomic-cloud.
No more children,
Laugh or play,
In the sun.
No more fields,
In which to,
Lay in or run.
Smell of death,
In the air.
Smoke an' fire,
Everywhere.
The survivors,
Living underground.
hiding from,
That terrible sound.
All is gone,
Of the American dream.
No more movie stars,
On the silver screen.
The sky,
Turns fiery red.
Who can cry,
Enough for billions dead?
Contamination,
In water an' wind.
Hell and damnation,
Because we sinned.
No more churches,
To preach in.
No more schools,
To teach in.
All we had,
Is all gone.
We were so bad,
We were so wrong.
In our greed,
To own this place.
We turned it into,
Atomic waste.
No more fast cars,
No more big boats.
No more single bars,
No more fur coats.
