Woken mind

Broken dreams

Left behind

Silent screams

Echoing through

The still night

Darkness scattered

Memory shattered

Beckoning

The new days light

I see it.

Then,

There it is.

It's gone.

But,

It never is,

Too far,

For long.

Always close.

Right behind.

Always knows.
