NUCLEAR WORRIES
What about the children?
Whose fault this is not.
The innocent children.
What chance have they got?
It's a Mexican stand-off.
Where no one wins.
And the politicians,
Forget their sins.
Can you hear me Mr.
President?
Well listen up man.
I'm tired of living in fear.
It's time for a nuclear ban.
Let's stop wasting out money,
On something that kills.
And start paying,
Some of our bills.
Can you hear me Congress?
I think you better.
'Cause if you don't,
I'm going to send you a
letter.
Nuclear Worries.
What a shame.
To get caught up,
In such a stupid game.
Nuclear Worries.
Let's stop this race.
Before we turn ourselves,
Into nuclear waste.
We're riding down the tracks,
On a heavy train.
Heading towards a bridge,
That can't take the strain.
The bridge doesn't get any
stronger.
But we add on more and more
weight.
I say, "No more nuclear,
As our most precious
freight."
I've listened to the
politicians,
Sit there and lie.
Telling us we could survive.
That only the unlucky would
die.
Well, let me tell you,
Who the unlucky would be.
Everyone who lived through
it.
All the children, you an' me.
Atomic bombs shred our world.
Billions die.
Such a terrible sight,
In my mind's eye.
Nuclear Worries.
Let us strive for peace.
And do all we can.
To get the warring to cease.
Nuclear Worries.
I want the children to grow
up,
Not having to worry,
If the Earth will be blown
up.
Hey you!
Wake up!
Smell the coffee.
It's time to stand up,
And take a stance.
'Cause when the missiles are
flying,
There will be no second
chance.
