BROKEN THINGS

You can break a leg.

You can break an egg.

You can break a sweat.

You can break a bet.

So many broken hearts.

So many broken lives.

So many broken parts.

So many token tries.

You can break an arrangement.

You can break an engagement.

Just break it,

An' then exchange it.

So many broken promises,

To so many girls.

So many broken armistices.

All over the world.

You can break apart.

But please don't break a fart.

You can break a smile.

But can you break a crocodile?

So many broken homes.

So many broken things.

So many broken bones.

Too many broken wings.

You can break a date.

You can break a stalemate.

You can break the bread.

You can even break ahead.
