BEAUTIFUL AS THE SEA
She is beautiful as the sea,
Hard to fathom.
She’s a mystery,
To me.
Her body is like an ocean.
Surrounded by a beautiful
curving coastline,
Of smooth sandy beaches,
And high towering cliffs.
Her cheerful heart is warm
and sparkling clear,
Like the exotic tropical
waters.
Her sunset hair is soft and
silky,
Like the sea mist on my skin.
Her touch is gentle and
brief,
Like a cool summer breeze
that kisses me.
Her face glows full and
bright,
Like the Moon shinning upon
the water.
And her eyes,
Beautiful,
Sky blue.
I see in them,
A joyous laughter,
Like a seagull flying free,
On the currents of happiness.
And yet I sense a tempest on
her ocean,
A hurricane when it comes.
I sense torrents of rain,
Like many tears unshed.
I sense luminous clouds of
sorrow,
And a low-lying fog of
sadness.
I feel like my love is like a
sailboat on her sea.
I’m a sailor adrift on her
ocean.
Subject to the winds of her
passion.
Searching for the island of
her heart.
I pray for fair weather,
And a safe journey,
To the land of her love.
